This afternoon I drove through Kershaw, SC, and I saw some signs for a US601 Business that is not listed here. Does this designation officially exist?

It appeared that US601 South approaches from the east, crosses US521 Business (at which point a US601 Business goes south with US521 Business), and US601 continues west for a block or two (I was held up here as a front end loader pushed five or six tanker train cars down the tracks) to where it joins US521 and then turns south.

When you approach from the south, the arrows point US521/601 to the left and US521/601 Bus to the right. When you approach from the north on US521, there is a sign saying to turn left onto US601 North, not "To" US601 North, at that intersection in the middle of town.

However, if you approach from the east on US601 at US521 Bus, I think it just says US601 turns south instead of going straight ahead and there is no mention of a US601 Bus here.

Hmmm, I'll have to do some research on this and report back.

Alright, it seems after looking at this area in StreetView that the Business Route came to be because they don't allow trucks along that route there. I'll add this route once I do a complete overhaul of SC.
