For Jeff:

Quote:
Here is some information regarding MO (truncated/decommissioned routes still included in the .list):

US 136 Spur (Wayland): I will verify sometime, but I think it was decommissioned with the opening of MO 27 and US 61 expressways.

US 63 Business (Kirksville): Decommissioned.

US 160 now ends at US 67/MO158 south of Poplar Bluff.

Also: I-64 freeway is open with exit numbers and mile markers east from exit 2 (Lake St. Louis Blvd). Construction continues between exit 2 and I-70. I-64 markers still not up yet west of exit 9. I used 9 in the .list.

Regards.

G.R. Van

I-64 is covered in another thread. I think the best answer on that one was that I-64 stops at Exit 9 until Missouri redesignates all 9 new miles at once.

I also assumed the spur was decommissioned, given that it now dead-ends. I wasn't able to field-check this last time, but I think it's safe to be changed. I'll rename it.

Which reminds me, I need to kill that "Spur 136" that isn't really a spur at US 59.

Re Business 63 Kirksville, I'm inclined to keep the points, maybe change to "OldBus63"?

That'd be setting a precedent that would be VERY HARD to follow with older former Business routes...if the Business route is truly decommed and no longer signed, then ditch it.

You make a good point. I'll just rename the points to the streets. One of them is a junction with MO 6, anyway.

I may have misunderstood you. If you're referring to keeping the points on the mainline US 63 route, then "OldBus63" works for the points (I do the same thing with a few of my lists, using "OldXXX" as points). I thought you were referring to keeping the old Business 63 LIST...

These points have been renamed/updated. BTW, the Wayland spur is gone now, in fact it dead-ends.
