That's the odd nature of the Gorge exits -- most are to state parks and force you to return to the freeway.

Exit 25 (Rooster Rock)
Exit 30 (Benson, eastbound only)
Exit 31 (Multnomah Falls)
and a few others are like that.

Well, if they are only on one side of the Interstate and you can't U-Turn to go the other way and you can't access any other road except the Interstate you can from, those are the kind that might be more suitable to being hidden IMO.

But we should let Tim have the final say on this because I remember pointing out an Rest Area that had an exit number once to Tim and he said it shouldn't be included in the project.

There are still some parentheses "(72)" and brackets "I-84[65]" on I-84 and US 30 that don't belong.

Related, on US30, I-84(65) is mislabeled I-85[65]. Of course, we all know that I-85 is on the other side of the country. Smile

Whoops!

(Uh, it's intentional... I'm sending some very subtle hints to ODOT and AASHTO...)

Will attempt to field check the unnumbered exits again within the next couple months. Leaving thread open till then.

If I would have thought about it, I would have checked them -- I was all over the Gorge area today, but didn't think to take any notes. Sad

Just looked at the old US30 file again -- did you fix the shaping points between IdaSt and MarCutRd? It looks like 2 of them are swapped (making a sort-of bow tie shape).

*sigh*

It really helps to have extra eyes proofreading these.

The OR Interstates have points much better positioned than before. Good work on this part!

I-205 (7) isn't an interchange so it doesn't belong.

There are two points each for I-405 Exits 1D and 2B when one should suffice. If Google maps' exit numbers are correct, use 2B in the middle of Gilsan and Everett, 2A at Burnside, use 2 at Taylor/Salmon to avoid a second 2A, 1D at US 26 (one point for the whole ramp mess). Makes sense?

I'll be inspecting the US highways at some point...

Will replace with a shape point.

Got it. The joys of being a perfectionist at this, I guess.
