Is US 321 in Tennessee backwards in the HB? Or is it truly marked North from the NC/TN state line to I-40 west of Knoxville? I was just there, and I wish I could remember.
Also, there are waypoints in the HB for TN67_N, TN67_W, and TNs67/91_E. Are they marked North and West in the field? Or should one of them be E or S?

Way back when, the decision was made to keep the point order for US Routes consistent across all states they enter.
For example, most of US275 is in Nebraska and thus signed E/W, so the segments in Iowa and Missouri appear "backwards" in the HB.

It is.

I'll have to double check them in the future. The US Highways in TN were one of the early states done, so, our standards were not as polished as they are right now. I've been meaning to get around to cleaning up all the US highways in TN, but just haven't had the time. |
