Two notes here.
First, a BUSINESS US 62 exists in Salem, AR.
Second, with the completion of the Hardy bypass a couple years ago, US 62, US 63, and US 412 are all routed on the bypass, with BUSINESS US 63 following the old route.
New files for the two business routes, plus corrected files for US 62, US 63, and US 412, have been E-mailed to Tim. _________________ Froggie

Wow, Google Maps API finally shows business routes! I just checked out the Hardy bypass on the Highway Browser.
I see:
1. Google Maps API shows "62B", "63B", and "412B" on the business route.
2. Google Maps (not API) shows "63" but labels it in text as "W Main St" and "US 63 BR".

3. Sharp County map from the DOT calls it "Bus 63", but it also shows US 62/63/412 as US 63 and US 62/412 as US 62, displaying only one designation everywhere.

Have you been to Hardy? If not, how do you know the business route is only Bus US 63 and not tri-signed?
I also found a Bus US 62 in Yellville and started to add it this weekend. I'll use your business route files but I'll have to change the US 62 and US 412 files myself instead of using your edits on the old versions.
In Yellville and Flippin, I don't know if the business routes are only for US 62. I'd love someone to check in person, especially if the Flippin bypass has made the local designations final there.
I also plan to skim the DOT's county files again - there seem to be some bannered routes there that I missed so there are probably some more. |

I've been there twice over the past couple years. My earlier comments were based on the photos I took last year.
It's also the same reason I know the business route in Salem is only BUS 62 and not dual-signed BUS 62/412.

Well you have the points I listed in the files. _________________ Froggie

Good enough for me. Thanks. |

David Backlin on Hardy AR:
Quote: | 62/412 East at Hardy follow North Old (aka Business) 63 then south
along 63
"mainline"
Old 63 is only Business 63, no Bus 62 or Bus 412 here.
I probably need to check it again, if I can find the time. |
