Many of SC's US highway spurs and connectors look mainly useless. Some are simply an insignificant ramp or lane. I remember telling James not to bother with including more of these that SCDOT has associated with US highways. Spur and connector designations seem more a matter of state preference than AASHTO consensus, so they don't seem standardized or "official".
Of the SC spurs/connectors in the Highway browser, are there any that really seem to belong? Does SCDOT have any not in the browser that seem worth including? |

I think there are 3-4 that show up on the official map. Maybe we should just include those. I'll make a list of those sometime this week. |

Alright, here are the following ones that show up on the 2007 map (can't find my 2008 one at the moment, but they should be the same):
US-15/US-521 connector in Sumter, SC
US-21/US-76 Connector in Downtown Columbia, SC
US-52 Spur in Charleston, SC
Also, while double checking something in Florence, SC, I discovered a Truck US-52. So, I'll need to do that route as well.
So, in a little bit, I'll send you Tim an updated SC set for just the connectors and spurs so you aren't confused. |
