Iowa is about to open a realigned segment of IA 86 south of the state line. Instead of having two sharp curves following the section line on the state line, there will be a more gradual slant on the Iowa side.
The Minnesota point will need to be moved eastward so it is directly in line with MN 86 north of the state line.

I don't think an "OldMN86" point needs to be created, but I WILL have to make one for Iowa. (And lose my clinch, and have to drive 3 1/2 hours to get it.) |

I have 2013 NAIP imagery now for GIS...should theoretically be showing on it, especially if they got an early start on grading (or started the project last year). I'll take a look once I get home and evaluate. _________________ Froggie

Yeah, that'd explain why you said "east" instead of "west". Come up with your border point lat/lon and I'll reciporicate it when(if?) I take MN back. _________________ Froggie
