Ohio is rebuilding and rerouting the ramps between I 76 and I 71.
Currently, the maps have two interchange points for this interchange: one on I-76/US-224 for the old ramps to I-71 and one on I-71 for the old ramps to I-76/US-224. I-76 includes both points and ends at I-71.
With the reconstruction, there are new ramps from I 71 northbound to I-76/US-224 eastbound and from I-76/US-224 westbound to I-71 in each direction. The old ramps will only handle I-76/US-224 eastbound to I-71.
Under the principle of one point per interchange, I propose that the maps be updated to have one point (where I -76 and I-71 cross) for this entire interchange, which covers the various movements for this interchange consistently. This point should be labeled exit 1 on I-76 and exit 209 on I-71. _________________ Dave Filpus

Got a map of the new interchange configuration? No luck with aerial views in Google or Yahoo nor with ODOT's site so far. |

Yeah, it'd be fine to move the two interchange points from the trumpets to the overpass crossing once the project is completed. |
