I-376 got longer again.

Quote:
State and local officials today announced that the redesignation of Interstate 376 from Interstate 80 in Mercer County to the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Monroeville has been completed.

press release:

Conveniently this happened before I finished up the PA 50s routes and hadn't gotten to 60 yet.

Added: PA 60 will remain as the windy road south/east of US 22/30. PA 760 will take over PA 60 north of I-80.

I-80 signs at the I-376 & PA 760 interchange:

PennDOT's press release says that signs started changing on Friday, yet they could take a year to put them all up.

I'm trying to decide whether to extend I-376 here right away or wait for some reports that new signs are up. Same with I-376 BL.

Well, on the KDKA report last night, they showed that some of the stand along signs for PA-60 had I-376 signs hiding right behind them.

As for Business I-376, I hope to be able to go out to that area within maybe the next month or so and check out that.

I would hold off for now on making the change to I-376.

I took 60 from the Clinton interchange to Robinson today and no changes, not even to the trailblazers. Business PA 60 is still signed.

PA 60 has the new northern Rolling Eyes END sign up now:

Sign plans have PA 60 remaining N-S even though it'd naturally be an E-W route now. That means it'll seem backwards in here.

More signs have been changed.

So I'm going to extend I-376 here now.
