I drove A-50 west from Mirabel today, as part of an add-on trip to Quebec after yesterday's Bennington VT road meet. A-50 now extends west to new exit 210, at QC 323 north of Montebello. This still leaves a gap between A-50's main and Gatineau segments (to be filled next year), but it's now about 16km shorter.
OSM clearly shows the location of the new exit 210 (A-50/QC 323) interchange. However, it doesn't show the connector roads between QC 148 and new A-50 exit 216 (Fassett), or the old (but missing from the HB) exit 233, to help nail down the new exit locations. I used a hand-held GPS to get approximate coordinates for both exits:
216: N45.65940 W74.86796
233: N45.66191 W74.65866
These coords were each taken a hundred feet or so north of the A-50 centerline, and besides my GPS's coordinates can be a little out of synch with OSM's even when I stand on the centerline. So the above coordinates will need a little tweaking to put them back on OSM's A-50 route trace. |
