Driving US35 to (finally) reclinch it, I noticed that signs for WV817 extended further northwestward than what the HB indicates. Looking at the US35 file, WV817 currently ends at the WV817_Hen point, but there is also signage for it to turn at the OldUS35 point, where I presume it would take Old 35/Chestnut St to end at WV2. A search of GMSV shows well out of date images on US35, and no signs on WV2 from images from September 2013. Not quite sure what to make of this, I just wish I would of taken the 5 minutes to check it out.

Thanks for the head up. It seems Google shows WV-817 shields along that segment (but nobody else does), but as you mentioned, StreetView on US-35 there is way out of date.
Maybe they'll be back in that area sometime in the near future, or somebody else will get some pictures of this as I want to be sure of this before I extend WV-817 along this route. |

| Seems Google has now removed the 'WV-817' shields from that segment. StreetView is still out-of-date there (US-35 -> 2007; WV-2 -> 2013), so can't see if shields were posted yet. As I said before, I do hope StreetView updates in that area soon, but until a video or pictures show this extension, I'm not going to be adding it to my local files or the TravelMapping DB. |

| For reasons I can't quite comprehend, the WV817 signs are posted along US35 between the WV817_Hen and the OldUS35 waypoints, and stop there. 817 is not signed on Old 35 or current US35 northwest of that intersection. So it appears that the right course would be to extend WV817 to the OldUS35 waypoint on US35. |

Alright, thanks for the report. I'll try to get it done later tonight.
BTW, what about the signage going WB? In this picture, it seems to indicate there might have been signage for the turn going that direction for WV-817 at some time. |

| I just looked through my pics and didn't get one going that direction. I'm pretty sure the sign just said 817 though, without an arrow. It just ended there. |
