The points where these route cross are different. The points appear to be at opposite ends of the ramps. It's exit 118 on I-80/90.
Is this intentional? It looks like many (all?) of the turnpike exits are this way.

It is intentional. Since the ramps deal with tollbooths and the ramps from each road are in different places, we put the points in different places to reflect reality. If that had been just a normal diamond interchange with separate toll booths on each ramp (kinda like PA Turnpike 576), then the points for both the Turnpike and the intersecting road (if it had a route number we cover here), then they would have been the same.
We did this also on any other Toll highway (and even some free highways) with interchanges like this. |
