Seems like it's been moved back to the Tunica/DeSoto County Line again (where it was originally). It had been posted just barely North of the old MS-304 intersections as seen in StreetView.

Has anybody been in that area recently?

Or not? The date on these images is September 2007.
Is this about when the terminus was located there before?

When I-69 was first opened (the segment that is co-signed with MS-713), the end was posted @ the Tunica/DeSoto County Line.

Then later in 2007, MDOT moved the signs farther South to just about the intersection with the old route of MS-304.

Now it seems that they have decided to move the signs back to the original location at the Tunica/DeSoto County Line.

Weird, eh?

And I got this info from Chris Lawrence on OSM. Here's exactly what he told me in a message:

Quote:
Begin/End I-69 signs (giant green guide signs) were posted at the county line as of December 22, 2011. I'm afraid I didn't get a photo, though.

Also, check out StateEnds for some pictures that talk about the location change of the signs in 2007. Go to the "Former Southern Terminus (#2)" section first, then check out the "Current Southern Terminus (#3)" section.

Aah, gotcha. D'oh - I skimmed your first post, and failed to realize you said GMSV shows the now-former terminus.

Do "Interstate standards" allow an Interstate to end at a non-intersection at a county line?

Signage confirmed to be back at the Tunica/DeSoto County Line via StreetView.

I-69 Begin Sign
I-69 End Sign

And here's the signage on Old MS-304 showing only signs for MS-713 and no mention of I-69.

Then again, I also found this I-69/MS-713 sign set well before the "I-69 Begin Sign".
