Hi,
it seems that some minor branches of A1 and A3 in Switzerland are missing from your database. For instance:
- A1L, from A4 (junction 64) to the city centre of Zurich (including Milchbucktunnel);
- A1H, from Autobahnkreuz Limmattal (A3-A4) to the city centre of Zurich;
- A3W, from A3 (junction 32) to the city centre of Zurich;
- A1a in Lausanne, from A1 (junction 17) to the city centre of Lausanne.
All of these are visible on OSM. |

All of these are visible on OSM. | But all of which are unsigned and therefore don't meet the criteria for inclusion.
If you show that they are signed with red hexagon, then we'll (re)add them.
If you want to clinch the A1a, then it forms part of the E23 route, due to being signed as such. |

My memory is a little blurry, but I think those spurs will be given real numbers (in the 30s?) in a new motorway numbering planned either being considered or already approved by the Swiss highway authorities. If such a plan reaches the point of putting new motorway numbers on the spurs' signs, those numbered spurs will magically reappear in the CHM highway list, too. |

Hardly a source of record, is it? But even official motorways that aren't signed aren't included. For instance the A14(M), A195(M) and A635(M) in England aren't included. Quote: | What am I supposed to do, take pictures on all these motorways and send them to you as proof?
A1W is signed as A3:
http://goo.gl/maps/7t6hz | Well, you could do what you've just done and found someone else's photo.
That road was the mainline of the A3, before the Uetlibergtunnel opened in 2009 and the A3 linked up on the western bypass. As has been said, the Zurich spurs have been proposed to be A35, A36, A37. I'm not sure whether 2009 is old enough to be considered a signage error, but it is an old old number and so probably shouldn't count here. |
