The motorway will be opened to the public last the May Sun
Bystrica - Inauguration of the D1 motorway Sverepec-Vrtižer will be linked to the availability of public highways. Decided by the Ministry of Transport, together with the National Motorway Company. Further program is not yet prepared.
A spokesman for the National Highway Company Marcel Janosik informed the public that the program will be linked with the official opening of the motorway section. "The term is open to the public Sunday, May 30 is being considered for disclosure in one day. We still talk about it," added Janosik.
Information on the date of disclosure to the public highway was confirmed by the Ministry of Transport spokesman Stanislav Jurikovič. "It's afternoon time. The time has not yet been precisely that. Organizational and technical plan is not yet specified hours. For the skaters, and cyclists will be available approximately two hours. The public may attend all-day ceremonial program," stated Jurikovič.

This section had it's opening ceremony on Saturday and will be opened to traffic tomorrow morning (5/31/2010) |
