The current southern endpoint for MS I-69 is not consistent with the field; there are large "End I-69" (SB) and "Begin I-69" (NB) signs just north of the little dirt road where the big G shows the expressway portion ending: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=34.847057,-90.202217&spn=0.068185,0.154495&z=13

Also, Odom Rd is signed Tulane Rd in the field.

According to this site's pictures ( http://www.state-ends.com/mississippi/ih069.html ), I-69 now ends down near the old MS-304 route. I was even able to match up the location of the signs with the Yahoo Sat images because they have later shots than Google showing the new location of the signs. Unless they moved the signs again... Have any pictures?

Well, shoot. Now I'm not as sure as I was in the middle of the night after driving for, oh, 19 hours or so.

I remember specifically thinking, while going SB, End I-69 was just before the turn to the right, after which was a cut in the median that lined up with an unmarked dirt (or barely paved) road on the left (where I turned around). I haven't found the trip odometer in the rental car to see how far, and didn't remember to take a pic (figuring it would change soon enough anyway).

I was assuming that Old MS304 would be marked, or named, or at least look paved, but none of those are guaranteed. The photo you linked above looks much more like the curve I remember than the one on the G-map at the place I picked out. So forget I said anything (about this one); if it's wrong, someone else who lives closer will notice and tell us. Smile
