While working on an unrelated project, I had to trace the routing of US 1 through Palm Beach. Out of curiosity, I compared it to what was created for the clinched mapping project.

Main source was FDOT's video log, also using Google Earth to verify video log locations.

Suggested changes to the US 1 listing within Palm Beach:

- Based on the video from FDOT's video log, US 1 never touches Federal Hwy/Olive Ave. As a result, some of the points that "split the distance" between Dixie Hwy and Federal Hwy/Olive Ave should be moved west.

- Specifically, the BelRd point should be centered on the Dixie Hwy/Belvedere Rd intersection.

- Also related, the FL704 point should be centered on Dixie Hwy, halfway between Okeechobee Blvd and Lakeview Ave (as FL704 follows the one-way pair here). This point should also be relabeled FL704_E, for reasons below.

- Based on both Google Earth, Google Maps, and signage within the FDOT video log, US 1 now follows Quadrille Blvd between FL 704 and the Quadrille Blvd/Loftin St/Dixie Hwy/FL A1A intersection. A new point should be placed on Quadrille Blvd halfway between Okeechobee Blvd and Lakeview Ave and labeled FL704_W.

- The Banyan Blvd point should be moved to match the Quadrille Blvd/Banyan Blvd intersection.

- The FL A1A southern point should be moved to match the Quadrille Blvd/Loftin St/Dixie Hwy intersection.

- North of Quadrille Blvd/Loftin St, US 1 follows Dixie Hwy up to 25th St, then turns west along 25th St to Broadway.

- The Palm Beach Lakes Blvd point should be moved to match the intersection with Dixie Hwy.

- A new point should be created at the 25th St/Dixie Hwy/Poinsetta Dr intersection.

To summarize, here's my suggested point revisions between Belvedere Rd and 25th St:

BelRd http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=26.690372,-80.05439&spn=0.004783,0.009527&z=17
FL704_E http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=26.705948,-80.053747&spn=0.004783,0.009527&z=17
FL704_W http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=26.705967,-80.055174&spn=0.004783,0.009527&z=17
BanBlvd http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=26.714545,-80.054991&spn=0.004782,0.009527&z=17
+x01 http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=26.718196,-80.054895&spn=0.004782,0.009527&z=17 (whatever "+x" number it needs to be)
FLA1AWPB_S http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=26.718483,-80.053414&spn=0.004782,0.009527&z=17
PBeaLBlvd http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=26.724492,-80.053221&spn=0.004782,0.009527&z=17
PoinDr http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=26.736269,-80.052856&spn=0.004781,0.009527&z=17

The 25th St point can remain as-is.

Ok, I've made the tweaks to my personal file. Will send it in in a few days once I finished some other tweaks to some other routes.
