Oakland Ave from US 9/NY 32 to NY 32 in the southern portion of Glens Falls is Truck NY 32.

I wish there was a listing somewhere where we could just get the truck routes. It appears the only way to find them is to stumble on them when clinching something else.

I was talking with Highway Data Services today, and it seems that the truck routes in NY, though signed, are actually "unofficial" and set by the municipalities.

Do you suppose the same is true for New Hampshire? I found a Truck 103/11 in Newport, NH, but only for the northbound side.

This seems to be the case in many states. KS was another example that immediately came to mind. I think it works like this in NH too. Case in point, NH NH16TrkBer.

(At risk of going off-topic, I'm disinclined to include the one-way NH11/103 Truck -- it works as a glorified turning lane, with the movement in the other direction still using 11/103 proper.

A similar, even clearer example of something to leave out was the soutbound-only NH4 Truck in Dover, on a two-way street that carried NH4 north (but not south). I rounded it off to being a part of NH4 proper.)

Locking this thread, as I have posted about this in the AARoads forum to discuss the issue of signed but otherwise unoffical truck routes in NY.
