Even though TMK Iowa never applied to AASHTO for their portion of the reroute (maybe this coming November meeting?), according to posts on AARoads and the Mid-America Roads Facebook group, the new US34 bridge is open, with the US34 reroute signed at least on the Nebraska side.

I'm quite aware of it, as I drove it on opening day. 
Nebraska, at least, made the application, although I don't know if states can do it jointly.
I will try to get to it in the next couple of days. I was waiting for Tim to get caught up (I think the last post was that he has everything into mid-July?) because I have a decent-sized batch of South Dakota for him. |
