If these signs are any indication, A-55 goes a bit farther north than what we have in the HB.
October 2012 Signage at 90e Ave before the roundabout was constructed
Oscar: Don't know if you're still up that way or plan to be, but this could be another thing to check out of you have the time and inclination and deem it worthy. :)
The v7.0 GeoBase shapefiles, dated 4 Aug 2014, have the transition from RTNUMBER1=55 to RTNUMBER1=155 hereish, FWIW. |

I'm already in Ontario, heading west. So not this trip.
But the shapefile coordinates you provided put the end at a non-intersection point just past exit 226, about 0.4 mile NE of the endpoint in the HB, and well short of the 90e Ave intersection. The GMSV imagery also puts the A-55 FIN (end) sign about at those coordinates, also well short of the 90e Ave intersection. I thought our practice, for freeway route ends between the last exit and the next intersection, was to place the endpoint at the last exit. |

Fortunately, I did drive the northern end of A-55 before the meet. The Fin A-55 shield has not moved from its street view location. |

With this endpoint being right at the edge of the interchange's footprint, I agree that the end should be rounded off to the exit point. No changes to this file, then. |

As per the MTQ's GIS files (which we can't access right now due to their servers being submerged in 3 feet of water — I'm not even kidding), A-55 officially ends in the middle of the St. Maurice River, which is where road section 00055-05-095-000C transitions into 00155-03-021-000C. |
