I drove the route today. It looks decommissioned. There are several I-90 Bus route markers in Ritzville, though most are very or extremely faded. Also, there's no signage on I-90 pointing travelers to the business route; closest is a sign on westbound I-90 for "Ritzville Truck Access Route".
This is roughly similar to I-90 Bus Spokane, which I re-traveled yesterday. We removed that BL from the Highway Browser a few years ago, and it should still stay out. Excellent I-90 Business signage at the junction with US 2, but zero on the route itself or on I-90. |

I drove it a couple weeks before you did. Not sure I understand why faded signs are a reason to delete it from the list. Even if the signs are old, it's still the route WSDOT wants drivers to use to get to and from I-90, as the trailblazers clearly mark it (and WA 261) as the way to the interstate.
If misleading or old signage is a qualification for removing routes, then plenty of others I've driven deserve to be delisted too. But I'd prefer they remain. |
