The latest changes to the I & US highway systems have been approved. Most are in IN and MO, and I-69 is approved in KY.

There's an Oregon item relating to US 199 in Grants Pass. The approved action apparently moves US 199 to the route already specified in the Highway Browser. There are US 199 signs not only along that route, but also a branch route concurrent with OR 99 on the 6th St./7th St. couplet, which seems to be the old US 199. I found that confusing when I was in Grants Pass earlier this month, and wound up driving both US 199 routings just to make sure I clinched US 199.

We might not need to do anything with this AASHTO approval.

Nebraska's US83 change is a glorified grade separation.
Added to the Operation Nebraska Cleanup ToDo list.

Only the I-69 change in the states I control. And I'll have that ready within a week of it being posted as I mention in the I-69 KY thread. Wink

You know Tim, this brings up an interesting problem with I-69 in KY. Please see the KY I-69 thread on this.

Another link, to the stuff specifically on the agenda this time:
http://www.transportation.org/sites/route/docs/USRN%20Report%20to%20SCOH%20Oct%2015%202011.pdf
I didn't find it from the main Special Committee on Route Numbering Page linked upthread. The links on that page aren't too well organized. :(

So yeah... KY I-69, IN & MO changes... oh, and a change to ME US1AltBan I need to look into...

Edit: If Mike is no longer active on the project, I can take care of KS US81BusLin.

Did anyone else happen to notice, at the bottom, the approval of I-69 in Texas? The package for I-69 in Texas includes an approval letter from the FHWA Administrator.

It runs along US 77 from TX 44 in Robstown to I-37 Exit 14 west of Corpus Christi.

It's interesting how the states handle getting the I designation on new Interstates with gaps. TX will have a 6-mile I-69 there. NC I-73 and I-74 have the "only Future I-" vs. "I-" complexity. PA I-99 doesn't yet exist north of Williamsport.

Eric, you can take over any of Mike's or Jason's states until we hear from them again, if you'd like.
