The north end of NJ41 has been a bit confusing ever since NJDOT redid the six-way intersection of NJ38, NJ41, and NJ73 between Maple Shade and Moorestown. (The reconfig was totally necessary but left NJ41's endpoint up in the air.)
The browser currently shows NJ41 as ending at Old Kings Highway (East). Other road sources have it as ending a block northeast of there, at Lenola Rd. GMSV (2012 image) shows an "END 41" sign a half block before Lenola, just before the shopping center that takes up the corner, so I suspect the END sign is in the last feasible place. I was in South Jersey over the weekend (17-18 January 2015) and confirmed visually that the END 41 sign is still there.
Going southbound, the first "South 41" reassurance sign is about 75 feet from the corner at Lenola Rd. The sign assembly includes both South NJ41 and West CR611, and is directly in front of the Lukoil gas station on the corner, between entrances to the station (GMSV 2012 image visually confirmed January 2015).
I therefore suggest that a new waypoint be added at Lenola Rd and NJ41 be extended to end there. |
