|

OH15, OH18, and OH66 have new truck routes around Defiance, OH. All 3 are marked "Alternate / Truck Route", which makes it seem that the new route for 66 should be considered separate from the existing Truck 66 (still signed with only a "Truck" banner) rather than an extension.
Routing for Alternate Truck 15: http://goo.gl/maps/17E1h
Routing for Alternate Truck 18: http://goo.gl/maps/LhiLm
Routing for Alternate Truck 66: http://goo.gl/maps/IuI0A
@vespertine: good news, all mileage is along existing highways, so if these are all approved you'll still be at 100% for Ohio. |

These would be oh.oh015trkaltdef.wpt, oh.oh018trkaltdef.wpt, oh.oh066trkaltdef.wpt.
Double bannered routes are not common, but part of the system.
The'll be in the next, ever larger, Ohio update. _________________ Dave Filpus

Thanks!
Speaking of double-bannered routes, technically OH37TmpDel is a temporary truck route. I've lived near it for 13 years, and am beginning to wonder how temporary it is, since no one seems to be making any efforts towards improving the low clearance underpass it avoids. |

If there will be a large Ohio update soon, may I suggest a fourth truck route to add? There looks to be a OH220 Truck route in Waverly, OH, which I've been neglecting to post about until I had to chance to explore it (haven't yet). Without having driven it, it looks to start where OH220 intersects US23, follows US23 south, turns onto Pride Dr here, then turns NE on 2nd St to Depot St, then meeting up with OH220 again here.
@mapcat: Almost 100%, Need this one first. Ohio always throws curve balls.

I see all 4 truck routes mentioned here are now listed on the updates page for December '13. So everything done here and this thread ready for a lock? |
