| US 223's end is signed at US 127 and does NOT continue to US 12. It needs to be truncated and points renamed accordingly. |

According to http://michiganhighways.org/listings/MichHwys200-229.html, "Although physical route signage in the field indicates US-223 terminates at US-127 just south of the US-12 & US-127 jct in northwestern Lenawee Co, MDOT records indicate US-223 continues concurrently with US-127 northerly to US-12, where it 'officially' ends. "
