The Netherlands will open some new motorway alignments in the coming years.
First: A74 Venlo. This 1.5 km motorway opened 4/4/12. I noticed it's already in the Highway Browser.
* A5 Amsterdam. This 9.5 km motorway will open in late 2012
* A4 Steenbergen. This 13 km motorway will open somewhere 2013
* A4 Delft - Schiedam. This 7 km motorway will open in 2015
* A7 Joure: new interchange, realignment will open in 2015
* A15 number will be extended west of Rotterdam in 2015 (already in the HB)
* A1 Muiden: new alignment will open in 2016
* A2 Maastricht. This 4 km motorway (tunnel) will open in 2016
* A9 Badhoevedorp: New alignment will open in 2016
* A15 Ressen - Zevenaar extension will open circa 2017-2018
* A13-A16 new link north of Rotterdam will open circa 2020
* A24 Rozenburg - Vlaardingen new motorway will open circa 2020
Other plans are too vague to post here at this time. I included a few widenings in this list which will result in a major realignment (such as A1 & A9). |
