I had to stare at that interchange for awhile to see how it was closed. Quite sneaky of them. Did it ever connect to I-280?

Yeah it did. That old bridge you see under the new bridge was I-280 till the new bridge was opened. If you want to see the old configuration, the Google Sat Images still show it as it once was. |
