Suggest a point at Cooks Ln in Baltimore, for those who may use it to cut to/from the I-70 endpoint:

Also, does US 40 follow I-70 between Exit 56 and Exit 59, or does it follow its old alignment along Old National Pike? If the latter, it might be a good idea to add a point in between. If the former, a hidden shaping point would be useful, so that it's clear which path US 40 takes. Reason for this is that some older (yet still this decade) maps show US 40 along its old alignment between the two exits.

That piece of the National Road between I-70 Exits 56-59 is MD 144. US 40 splits from I-70 at the I-270 interchange. I've seen it wrong on maps, too.
I-70/US 40 WB:
I've used Cooks Lane several times to jump to US 40 or I-70. I'll add it. |
