Two more items to enter into the ever expanding queue:
A bypass for WI64 has been constructed in Antigo. As it approaches town from the west, instead of using 5th Ave, it travels northeasterly to bypass downtown to meet the other piece of WI64 north of downtown, eliminating the US45/WI47/WI52 concurrency. It's probably better just to go to Google Maps to view it.
Also, a very small adjustment of Bus WI23 in Green Lake has been made. The northernmost portion of N Lawson Dr has and turned into a dead end street, but a new north-south access street (just past North St) has been constructed to get traffic to WI23. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any map or satellite data of this yet, but it is a pretty minor change.
This actually leads me to debate on whether Bus WI23 still exists. GMSV shows on WI23 signage at the eastern WI23Bus junction in 2008, but there is none for the new routing. The signage at the western WI23Bus junction is still there. Signage is town is very spotty and pretty old. Travelling WI23Bus eastbound, there were some signs, but any signs indicating the two major turns on the route (South St to Mill St, Mill St to N Lawson Dr) were not to be found. I'm not sure where that puts this route on inclusionability.

As is traditional with Wisconsin highways, one change affects four routes.
Not touching the WI 23 Business thing until more is known. |
