PADOT has an END PA 741 WEST sign just north of Commercial Drive in East Petersburg, well south of PA 722, where the mapper shows it to end.
The label for US 30 on PA 501 is US222/30, which is wrong on two counts. US 222 exits from US 30 at PA 272, one exit east of PA 501. Anyway, the label should be US 30/222. _________________ Dave Filpus

PennDOT just loves to put the 'END' shields wherever they feel like it. Case in point, the END shield for US-422 Business in Kittanning is well East of the interchange where it ends after US-422 leaves PA-28/66. |

The end sign is one mile south of PA 722. According to Wikipedia, that mile of PA 741 is unsigned and under local control. That is probably why PADOT put the sign there, since that is where state maintenance ends. _________________ Dave Filpus

Actually, the 'US222/30' label is correct. Since there is no 'left turn' moment for US-222 SB traffic @ PA-272, US-222 does intersect PA-501 there. Plus you have a set of off/on-ramps from US-30 on the other side of that intersection. Plus with the multiplex of SB US-222 on PA-501 there, that's why it's first in the label.
So, I think that part should be good as-is. |

Meh, I'm not convinced. It's not even a proper full-on multiplex.
I'd say go with US30/222, or better yet, just US30. |
