While it was announced that MDOT was going to truncate M-44 to I-96, the department has not removed the M-44 signage south of I-96 to 28th St.

The truncated segment is also part of MI37. I have to wonder whether a future GMSV update will show the truncation, and bring MI44 into line with what's in the HB. My inclination is to leave this as is.
