I know the California State Highways list is not in production yet, but I noted the following corrections needed:

CA-78: needs to be re-routed on new bypass north of Brawley
CA-86: needs to be relocated onto existing CA-86S expressway
CA-86S: delete

Does this mean we'll have the ability to put in the California routes we've traveled soon? Excited to see some movement here, even if it's just discussion.

All I'll say is that it's being worked on. "Soon" is the kind of prediction I've been seriously wrong about before, so I'll pass on that. But a lot of work remains, starting with catching up with a number of recent changes to the state route network.

Well, I'll just put out an offer to help again, if anyone's looking for assistance.

Fixes of these routes, as well as CA 111, are still on my "to-do" list. The related removals of CA 86S and CA 195 are already in the Travel Mapping HB, even though CA 195's pretty well signed for a long-decommissioned route.

Reroutes of CA 78, CA 86, and CA 111 are now in the Travel Mapping HB.

The CA 111 route file includes a long stretch from Cathedral City to Indio that Caltrans has relinquished to the respective local governments, though some 111 signage remains. The legislature has also authorized relinquishment of CA 86 from Brawley southward, though that appears not to have happened yet, and maybe never will. Those segments might ultimately be removed from the HB, splitting CA 111 in two and truncating CA 86, depending on how we decide to handle such relinquishments. That subject will be addressed later, and in Travel Mapping's new forums rather than here.
