I'm going through the list of TX state routes and have a few questions:
TXLp12 - Do you want the entire loop or the freeway on the west side of Dallas including 408?
TX114 - I'm assuming you don't want the entire length which goes from Dallas out past Lubbock. I'm considering doing the portion from Dallas out to I-35W or US-81/287 (which 114 multiplexes with for a while making a good end point).
TX97 - It's only designated from TX183 to the south toll into DFW airport. Do you want the entire N/S airport hwy?
TX190 - I'm assuming you want the entire George Bush Turnpike and the TX161 extension. I'll just call it the GBT.
I'm also adding the Austin Toll Roads (45 and 130) as well as the Dallas North Tollway

TX190: OK, that's probably best. Apparently the TX 190 designation is only the frontage road and not the mainline, if Wikipedia is right. |

I was over there a week ago. Here's what I found:
TX 114: The freeway ends west of Westlake Blvd/Trophy Club Dr. The main lanes move over to the frontage roads, but there is enough room in between the frontage roads to allow for future construction of a freeway as far west as I-35W.
Pres. George Bush Tpk.: The freeway from TX 114 north to the first toll plaza carries the TX 161 designation. TX 161 ends at the start of the toll road. The Frontage Roads from the first toll plaza north to I-635 carries no state highway designation. There are no Frontage Roads from I-635 to I-35E. The Frontage Roads east of I-35E are signed as TX 190, but there is a gap in the Frontage Roads between Kelly Blvd and Coit Rd and between Alma Dr and US 75. The open section of the turnpike does not carry a state toll highway designation similar to nearby TX 121 Toll.
The freeway south of TX 183 is signed as TX 161 Toll, but it is not open. The tollway is under construction north of Carrier Pkwy. I assume the construction continues north to TX 183. From Carrier Pkwy south to I-20, the Frontage Roads are open and signed as TX 161. There is a gap in the Frontage Road/TX 161 at the railroad adjacent to TX 180. No construction is uderway on this segment of freeway. |
