At the immediate moment, I am not sure what alerted the original Missouri route creator to the road, since it's not acknowledged at all. The only place I find it online is a map of New Madrid County, where it's marked as Spur MO 61.
A field check reveals that there is a small "MODOT Maintenance Ends/Begins" sign at Crisler Street, rather than ending at Capitol Boulevard. The pavement noticeably changes too.

On the New Madrid County map the marker covers up the area.
I am at least going to truncate the route to here, and I actually lean toward deletion entirely since it is not acknowledged except in those two small side markers and the MODOT-standard speed limit sign. |
