Tim,
Just noticed this one while working on finishing the Alabama US lists:
With the completion of Exit 21 (US 72 West), I-565 has been extended a little further east from where you had it.
The main changes are that what you list as "US72" is now Exit 21, and the eastern terminus of I-565 (verified in the field) is about 1/2 mile further east, before the first at-grade at Epworth Dr NE.
I've E-mailed you a file with the corrections (plus a few "+x" points I'd like included). _________________ Froggie

The extension looks good, but do the labels slightly differently:
...
20
+999 (at Exit 21, as before)
+US72 (at Exit 21, so this label refers to the same location as before, just hidden)
21 (duplicates +US72)
EpwDr (end of freeway at Epworth Drive)
(Keep any shaping points you added, even if I omitted them.)
This way, you aren't automatically adding the I-565 extension to anyone's clinched list if they specified the former end point as 999 or US72. They'll have to add it themselves. |

Or how about simply omitting the US 72 point (which would force them to correct anyway)?
Along those lines, would it be possible to omit the +999 point or would that become an automatic point at the end of the file if done so? _________________ Froggie

A lot of the users use either labels US72 or 999 for what you now want to call 21. So don't move those points, but also don't scrap them.
It is possible someone clinched up to Exit 21 but not the new piece of I-565, in which case there's no need for them to change that entry in their file. |
