Hey all,

I have a question regarding I-35W in Fort Worth, exits 51 and the many exit 52s.

We have the intersection with I-30 labeled as #50, the intersection with "US 287" and Spur 280 as #51, and intersections labeled 52A, C, and D.

Looking at research for something else, I noted that the intersection with I-30 is exits 51A&C northbound and just #51 southbound.

The next intersection to the north (287 & SS 280) is exit 52A, and the next interchange (TX 121) should be 52B, D, and E.

Just thought I'd mention it. Now to what brought this all about. US 287 travels with 35W southbound heading toward downtown Ft. Worth. When it reaches the intersection with Texas Spur 280 it then should travel southeast on MLK Freeway. The only problem is that there is no connection that allows US 287 to make this intherchange; there's no offramp. Southbound signage has travelers take the I-30 interchange (the next exit), then turn south immiediately on to MLK Freeway, which resumes US 287 southbound. Northbound traffic, on the other hand, it directed to stay on MLK Freeway northwestward, which then intersects 35W, with a direct onramp. Gonna be tough to do a proper direct capture if you're heading southbound...

Thanks for listening.

When Tim turns the TX Interstate files over to me, I'll be going through them and making necessary adjustments to positions and labels.

As for the actual routing for US-287, since both routes are covered by route files, I don't see any problem with the way things are right now. SB would mark the Interstate routing, while NB would mark the corner cut routing. If you've used both directions then both routings should be marked.
